Hi, I'm Meg Boericke.            

 

I am currently a student at Elon University studying Strategic Communications as well as Dance and Choreography. Dance has been an influential part of my childhood, and I am excited to pursue this interest as part of my career. Growing up in an analytical yet creative environment has allowed me to develop skills I now value as a photographer. Dance is a source of new perspectives. It is a language that creates universal empathy by tying commonly felt emotions to new experiences and stories. For me, dance has provided ways to physically embody my emotions and experiences and capturing it on camera has helped me learn more as a mover. The artist I have been able to work with have constantly inspired me to create new shapes, adapt to my environment, and become a creative problem solver.
